Located on the north end of the village of Osceola, Wisconsin, The Acreage is approximately 45 minutes from the Twin Cities and approximately 35 minutes north off I-94 through Hudson, Wisconsin.

The primary entrance is Gate 3 at 2585 State Road 35 Osceola, WI 54020.

We recommend using Google Maps for the most accurate directions.

We have found that Google Maps provides the most accurate directions to The Acreage. We do not encourage the use of Apple Maps. 

From Twin Cities: (Starting on MN Hwy 35 North)

  1. Start MN/US Hwy 35 North 

  2. Exit MN/US Hwy 35 onto MN Hwy 97 (exit 129)

  3. Turn RIGHT at MN Hwy 97 exit (heading East) 

  4. Follow signs at MN Hwy 97/Hwy 61 roundabout intersections to continue MN Hwy 97 (heading East)

  5. Follow MN Hwy 97 approximately 11 miles. 

  6. Turn LEFT (north) at MN Hwy 95 for approximately 5.6 miles 

  7. Turn RIGHT onto MN/WI Hwy 243 to cross the St Croix River to Osceola, WI. 

  8. Turn LEFT (north) onto Cascade Street/WI Hwy 35

  9. Turn LEFT at 2585 State Road 35 to reach Gate 3

  • Here are some guidelines that align with our values:

    We protect and preserve wild spaces.

    Leave no trace. Please leave the rocks, plants, and wildlife for the next visitor to enjoy.

    No foraging, please.

    We host foraging classes. Please do not forage unless part of a program.

    We recycle and compost.

    Use labeled containers for trash, recyclables and food waste. If you’re not sure where to put something, please ask an Acreage staff member.

  • The Acreage is not open to the public daily; however we are open to the public for special events and programs throughout the year. Check the events page on our website, follow us on Instagram and Facebook, or sign up for our newsletter for early notification of upcoming events and experiences at The Acreage.

  • We encourage people to be prepared for the outdoors. Most programs go on rain or shine! Monitor the weather carefully and prepare for “weathery” experiences. Bring sun protection for sunny days rain gear for rainy days. Trails are not paved or surfaced. Sturdy hiking or walking shoes are recommended. Open toed shoes or sandals are discouraged.

  • Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. Please read the Program and Event description to see if pets are allowed for that experience.
